Pleora’s NBASE-T Video Interface Earns Vision Systems Design 2017 Innovators Award
Pleora Technologies, the world’s leading supplier of high-performance video interfaces, today announced that its iPORT™ NTx-NBT Embedded Video Interface has been recognized in the Vision Systems Design 2017 Innovator Awards Program. The judging panel, consisting of experts from system integrator and end-user companies, awarded Pleora with silver in the annual innovation program.
Pleora is the first company to develop and ship NBASE-T products for the vision industry. The iPORT NTx-NBT hardware provides a cost-effective upgrade path for imaging device designers by supporting faster 2.5 and 5 Gbps transfer of GigE Vision-compliant images over low-cost Cat5e cabling. Leading X-ray flat panel detector (FPD) and camera manufacturers are designing Pleora’s GigE Vision over NBASE-T video interface into advanced imaging devices for medical and machine vision applications.
