Summary of position:

Pleora is seeking an experienced and innovative software developer to join its R&D Team. Working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solid, reliable, and optimized code. The successful candidate must have excellent communication & collaboration skills and technical expertise, with a track record of developing high-quality designs for commercial or consumer end-users.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop C/C++ application layer software
  • Work with UXD group to implement graphical user-interfaces using QML / Qt Quick
  • Integrate APIs / SDKs that provide services for video and image processing, sensors, HUMS, driver enhancement
  • Develop applications, SDK libraries, and drivers (Windows, Linux, Mac) for PCs and embedded platforms (ARM) for video image processing and for high-speed networks (1G, 5G, 10G+)
  • Contribute to specifications, system architecture definition, design reviews and documentation to deliver best-in-class video devices and applications

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor´s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and/or equivalent
  • 3+ years of solid software development experience using C++ for real-time systems
  • Experience designing and implementing GUIs, ideally for automotive or defense applications
  • Image processing experience in OpenCV, CUDA, OpenCL
  • Solid TCP/IP protocol and networking experience
  • Experience integrating different types of sensors and devices
  • Experience with development tools including: Visual Studio, Git, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
