vDisplay IP Engines

Pleora's vDisplay™ IP engines are high-performance video receivers that shrink the size, cost, and power consumption of real-time viewing stations on high-performance video networks. The compact vDisplay receivers transfer video data from GigE network links directly to off-the-shelf or custom video monitors, eliminating the need for bulky, costly, and unreliable PC workstations at each viewing node.

Pleora's vDisplay receivers are based on purpose-built hardware that efficiently converts streaming IP video to standard digital HDMI/DVI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface/Digital Visual Interface) or custom formats. Using a flexible interface architecture, they match the image formats and pixel types in today's high-performance digital sensors and cameras with monitor refresh rates and resolutions.

vDisplay receivers are fully compliant with the GigE Vision^® and GenICam™ standards and are elements of Pleora's networked video connectivity solutions. They interwork seamlessly with Pleora's other solution elements, including:

• iPORT™ IP engines - for transmitting video in real-time over standard GigE networks;
• the eBUS-PureGEV™ SDK - a feature-rich toolkit that provides the building blocks needed to quickly and easily design third-party or custom video applications; and
• the AutoGEV™ XML generation tool - a unique XML management utility for creating GenICam compliant devices.
