IP Offering
Pleora works hand-in-hand with OEMs and systems integrators to customize its networked video connectivity solutions for specific needs. Since 2002, hundreds of companies have partnered with Pleora to produce high-performance, standards-compliant GigE cameras and imaging systems in short timeframes, with low design risk. As part of our IP (intellectual property) program, Pleora is a member of the Altera Megafunction Partners Program, known as AMPPSM. Under AMPP, Altera forms partnerships with select third-party companies that develop IP packages for its FPGAs.
Pleora's IP offering has four components.
1) Evaluation Kit
The "quick start" evaluation kit - which takes only a few minutes to get up and running - enables OEMs and systems integrators to experience the performance of Pleora's technology, prove concepts, and develop prototypes.
2) Board Reference Design
The board reference design allows OEMs and systems integrators to customize Pleora's field-hardened, IP engines to meet specific requirements for variables such as form factor, ruggedization, and operating temperature.
3) IP Core
The IP core is a key building block for creating a highly optimized IP engine. OEMs and systems integrators can utilize the IP core with Pleora's proven HDL (hardware description language) reference design to synthesize an FPGA load with custom logic. Alternately, the core can be leveraged by licensing Pleora's standard FPGA load.
4) Design Review Services
These services allow OEMs and systems integrators to benefit from the depth and breadth of Pleora's expertise in IP engines. Pleora's review services extend through deployment and beyond, with ongoing updates related to new features, compliance with the GigE Vision® and GenICam™ standards, and component obsolescence.
