Pleora's solutions are based on the time-honored, well-understood Ethernet platform. They leverage all the underlying attributes of Ethernet, including its networking flexibility, scalability, high throughput rates, low-cost, and long-distance reach. Every conceivable video connectivity configuration is supported - from traditional point-to-point links between cameras and PCs, to switched multi-point-to-multi-point architectures with a wide range of video network elements.

Pleora's solutions are built for performance. They are based on hardware, software, and firmware that has been field-hardened in thousands of real-world deployments. These elements are available in a range of formats, including OEM boards, enclosed units, and IP (intellectual property) packages. All elements are fully compliant with the open GigE Vision^® and GenICam™ standards.

Pleora's solution elements include:

• iPORT™ IP engines - Highly optimized, compact transmitter hardware that packetizes almost any video output from a camera or sensor into an Ethernet-compatible format and sends it in real time with low, consistent latency to one or more network end points;
• vDisplay™ IP engines - Compact video receiving hardware that transfers data from a GigE Vision compliant network link directly to a standard monitor or custom hardware for display and/or processing, eliminating the need for PCs at viewing stations;
• eBUS™ drivers - Patented software that replaces or augments the commercial-grade drivers packaged with a GigE network interface card. eBUS drivers transfer video data in real time directly to applications and are not subject to task demands from an operating system;
• eBUS-PureGEV™ SDK - A feature-rich tool kit that provides the building blocks needed to quickly and easily develop third-party or custom video applications; and
• AutoGEV™ XML generation tool - a unique XML management utility for creating GenICam compliant devices.
