eBUS-PureGEV

Pleora's eBUS-PureGEV package combines the company's eBUS Drivers Suite and the iPORT PureGEV Suite in an easy-to-install package.

Pleora’s award-winning eBUS drivers optimize the performance of GigE Vision™-based applications by making almost all CPU resources in the PC available for valuable image processing rather than simple data transfer.

• The eBUS Universal Driver – ideal for most real-time vision applications. It runs on almost any vendor's NIC, handles all IP transport protocols – including ordinary network traffic AND GigE Vision and iPORT transport protocols – and uses less CPU than a filter driver
• The eBUS Optimal Driver – ideal for applications with very heavy processing overhead. It runs on Intel's PRO/1000 family of NICs, handles all IP transport protocols – including ordinary network traffic AND GigE Vision and iPORT transport protocols – and delivers the lowest CPU load in the industry
• eBUS Driver Installation Tool – lets you easily choose the driver that best suits your needs.

Pleora's iPORT PureGEV Suite is fully compatible with the GigE Vision and GenICam standards and lets you quickly and easily build your custom vision application. Sample application source code and executables provide working applications for functions like device configuration and control, image and data acquisition, and image display and diagnostics. The iPORT PureGEV Suite includes:

• GEVPlayer – a powerful and versatile image capture application that lets you quickly configure your iPORT IP Engine and begin capturing images with your PC
• PureGEV SDK – The rugged, well-tested, feature-rich C++ classes and methods that let you get your camera's images to your PC – seamlessly.
  
• Software Tools – easy-to-use applets that helps speed up your development cycle
  
• Documentation – the iPORT QuickStart Guide helps you get up to speed quickly, while advanced configuration documentation and extensive hardware guides provide in-depth reference material for advanced users.

The eBUS-PureGEV package is included free of charge with all Pleora hardware devices.

It’s now also possible to license Pleora’s eBUS-PureGEV software package for use with any GigE Vision-compliant hardware. By licensing Pleora’s best-of-breed eBUS drivers and PureGEV Software Development Kit, software vendors, system developers, camera companies and others can leverage Pleora’s industry-leading software tools.

This means end users and OEMs will enjoy unparalleled performance, reliability and ease-of-use when using their familiar GigE Vision-compatible machine vision applications.

Similarly, camera manufacturers can bundle their GigE Vision cameras with high-performance Pleora software and provide a complete solution to their customers. The eBUS-PureGEV software package easily accommodates all image sources, even in multi-vendor, multi-camera systems..
