Pleora’s EtherCast™ TS-Pro IP engine is a compact, low power video transceiver that makes it fast, easy, and affordable for broadcast equipment manufacturers to add network capabilities to their products. MPEG-TS video is transported using standards-compliant protocols, ensuring compatibility with third-party off-the-shelf hardware and software.

Allowing video to stream reliably over economical wired or wireless Internet Protocol (IP) networks, the TS-Pro IP engine is ideal for use inside broadcast hardware as it consumes less than 2W of power while streaming. The TS-Pro IP engine carries any video transport stream and converts it to and from IP packets quickly and efficiently, for transport over Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) links. Its settings (including both network and streaming parameters) can be configured externally via a web-based interface that can be branded by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), or by the host equipment itself via a serial link.
