Pleora Technologies, a leading supplier of Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) video connectivity products today announced that the company's eBUS™ Driver Suite and PureGEV Suite are now available for all GigE Vision-compatible products, including cameras not based on the company's market-leading iPORT™ IP Engines.

Pleora's award-winning eBUS drivers optimize the performance of GigE Vision-based applications by making almost all CPU resources in the PC available for valuable image processing and display tasks rather than simple data transfer.

An easy-to-use installer makes it possible to silently install Pleora's eBUS Driver Suite in the background with the software applications, making the experience seamless for end users.Thanks to a straight-forward OEM integration process, it’s also a breeze for manufacturers to customize both the software and the documentation. Earlier this year, Pleora and Cognex Corporation entered a strategic partnership where Cognex licensed Pleora's eBUS Driver Suite to be used with its VisionPro™ and CVL™ development software. The current eBUS-PureGEV package leverages the same technology.

The eBUS Universal Driver offers high flexibility and reliability combined with low CPU usage. It is ideal for most real-time vision applications and runs on almost any vendor’s NIC
The eBUS Optimal Driver offers maximum performance and the lowest CPU usage in the industry. It is ideal for applications with very high data rates and heavy processing overhead. It runs on Intel’s PRO/1000 family of NICs
iPORT PureGEV Suite includes everything you need to develop your own application, including sample application (GEVPlayer), PureGEV SDK, software tools and documentation.

The eBUS-PureGEV software package is fully compatible with the GigE Vision and GenICam standards.
