eBUS Drivers

Pleora's eBUS™ drivers are patented software for the company's networked video connectivity solutions. The drivers complement Pleora's iPORT™ IP engine video transmitters, vDisplay™ IP engine video receivers, and eBUS-PureGEV™ SDK.

eBUS drivers replace or augment the commercial-grade drivers packaged with a GigE NIC (network interface card/chip). They transfer video data in real time directly to applications and are not subject to task demands from an operating system. This allows eBUS drivers to deliver video data to higher-level applications using minimal CPU usage, giving the applications continuous access to the CPU for simultaneous processing tasks.

Pleora offers two eBUS drivers, both of which are fully compliant with the GigE Vision^® and GenICam™ standards:

• The eBUS Universal Driver - which runs on almost any vendor's NIC and meets the needs of most real-time applications; and
• The eBUS Optimal Driver - which runs on Intel's PRO/1000 family of NICs and meets the needs of applications with high data rates and heavy processing loads.

The drivers are offered in a package with eBUS-PureGEV SDK.
