X-Ray Detector Panels

Pleora's embedded video interface hardware allows manufacturers of x-ray detector panels for digital radiography and fluoroscopy for medical and non-destructive product testing to quickly and easily integrate high-performance, standards-compliant video interfaces into their products. With Pleora's embedded hardware, these manufacturers can simplify the design and deployment of X-ray detector panels, while shortening time-to-market, reducing risk, and lowering costs.

Pleora's embedded video interface hardware is based on a modular architecture that delivers video over a range of interfaces with high reliability, low, consistent latency. The architecture supports GigE Vision® compliant video transmission over Gigabit Ethernet (GigE), wireless, or 10 GigE connections, as well as USB3 Vision™ compliant transmission over USB 3.0 links. This makes it fast and easy for manufacturers to create a family of detector panels with different interface options.

Pleora’s embedded video interface hardware is compliant with the GenICam™ standard, and includes development tools that allow manufacturers to quickly create a GenICam XML file and link features in that file to sensor-specific commands internal to the X-ray detector panel.

The diagram below shows how Pleora's embedded hardware can be integrated into an x-ray detector panel. The hardware presents a standardized, parallel LVTTL/LVCMOS interface, including image, line, and pixel framing signals.
